Cavs seem to show interest in PG Patrick Beverly. “I think there’s a great deal of unknown,” Beverley’s agent Kevin Bradbury said on Monday. “Their rosters are in a bit of a flux right now, and we’ll see how it shapes up and what the best fit is.

If Andrew Bynum signed with the Cavs

If Andrew Bynum is traded to the Cavs and signs a contract it can only be for 3 years.
 If he is traded to the Cavs without signing a contract first and he becomes a free agent he can sign with the Cavs for 5 years in the summer of 2013.

Jon Leuer

Earlier this week the Cavs claimed Jon Leuer off waivers from the Rockets. Leuer averaged 4.7 points in 46 games for the Rockets. This is what Chris Grant had to say on Jon Leuer; "Jon is a young, athletic, hard-working post player. He will add depth and also bring a perimeter shooting element to our big positions. We’re happy to add Jon to our team and looking forward to his continued growth and development as a Cavalier.”

Waiters still sidelined with injuries

Cavs' guard Dion Waiters is still sidelined with ankle and knee injuries. He averaged 12.3 points in the summer league while shooting 30% from the field.

Cavs in no rush to sign Gee

Cavs' forward Alonzo Gee has received no legitimate offers from other NBA teams. Gee is a restricted free agent and the Cavs have the option to match any offer made to Gee.
